Data Testing Architect
Location: Phoenix OR New York 3 days in office, 2 days remote
- Must understand data flow and work closely with Product Owners and Data Sourcing teams
- Must understand how data is ingested and ultimately reported
- Strong SQL skills required must be able to write own queries
- Preference for candidates who can automate manual processes
- Ideal: experience with machine learning or data visualization
- Prefer candidates with knowledge of specific regulatory reports (Y-9C, Y-14, Y-15, 2052a, etc.)
- While not a PO role, this position requires strong communication and collaboration with both technical and business teams
- Must be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and performing both upstream and downstream testing
- Experience in data analytics, data profiling, Source to Target (S2T) data mapping, analyzing the System of Record (SOR) data and its Data Quality (DQ) rules to identify data issues in SORs
- Strong SQL / NoSQL and data analysis experience, able to write / understand complex SQL, HiveQL, with hands-on Oracle SQL, DBeaver and Hive experience
- Experience with Python, Google Cloud, Big Query, Machine Learning and Data Automation / Visualization techniques
- Knowledge of US Regulatory Reports (Y9C, Y14, Y15, 2052a, amongst others), and general understanding of the banking products
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and experience working in a big data environment (Hadoop / Cornerstone) preferred
- Experience of MS Excel and Power Query
- Document and understand core components of solution architecture including data patterns, data-related capabilities, and standardization and conformance of disparate datasets.
- Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills (data application)
- Product Management, data migration, data analytics working experience is a plus
- Experienced in Agile delivery concepts or other project management methodologies
- Excellent Communication Skills; Verbal, Written
- Excellent relationship building, presentation and collaboration skills
