*Hybrid in Durham, NC*

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in building and deploying AWS cloud-compatible Java/Spring Boot microservices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing multi-tier distributed applications and a passion for creating clean, maintainable code. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to automation and supporting data ingestion services using MQ/Kafka technology.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60 - $68 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and deploy AWS cloud-compatible Java/Spring Boot microservices
  • Develop and test accessible and responsive UI applications using Angular, NgRx, and TypeScript
  • Support data ingestion services using MQ/Kafka technology
  • Contribute to automation efforts within the existing framework
  • Implement REST API development using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver full-stack cloud-based applications
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications and infrastructure

Experience Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience developing multi-tier distributed applications
  • Expert-level knowledge of REST API development using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies
  • Demonstrated expertise in MQ/Kafka technology for data ingestion services
  • Experience with PL/SQL stored procedures and foreign keys (self-rate 7/10)
  • Familiarity with financial messaging protocols like FIX
  • Experience with DevOps/deployment tools and techniques like Jenkins, Concourse, Docker
  • Strong experience with relational and non-relational database technologies (Oracle/Redis/Aerospike/DynamoDB)

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
