Program Manager - MES Projects and Transformations

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6-12 months(Contract to hire)

This person will be leading the MES Projects and Transformations so needs to be really strong

100% remote but must be able to travel to TE on occasion especially probably in the first couple of weeks to meet the team (expenses paid)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead Manufacturing Execution System (MES) projects and drive transformational initiatives within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership abilities, and a track record of successful project management in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage MES projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Drive transformation initiatives within MES projects, optimizing processes and systems for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, including Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) considerations.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, encouraging team members to contribute to project success.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for MES systems and transformations.
  • Lead technical discussions and problem-solving sessions, leveraging your expertise to guide the team.
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance, implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager in MES projects and transformations, with a solid technical background.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with MES systems, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
