SAP SCM Solutions Architect

Bill Rate: $80/hr W2 or $90/hr on c2c

The Ask? Client is looking for a SCM Solutions Architect to lead end-to-end solution architecture across SAP IS-Oil and Supply Chain workstreams for a large multi-phase SAP S/4HANA program. This role ensures pricing, scheduling, secondary distribution, logistics execution, and order-to-cash processes are designed to SAP best practices and integrated cleanly with platform services, integrations, and reporting.
Skills and Experience_
15+ years SAP functional experience; 5+ years across IS-Oil and SCM domains.
3+ end-to-end S/4HANA implementations covering logistics/pricing/OTC.
Expertise in SD/MM/LE (and/or TM), pricing, deliveries, shipment, and invoicing flows.
Experience with secondary distribution, terminal scheduling, or hydrocarbon logistics.
Strong integration understanding with BTP Integration Suite/API Mgmt/Event Mesh.
Proficiency in drafting FS/BRD, solution options, and decision logs for governance.
Comfort leading executive workshops and resolving cross-functional design conflicts.
Preferred:
Oil & Gas or Aviation fueling domain exposure.
Experience with CPQ-to-S/4 integrations impacting dispatch and pricing.
SAP certifications in IS-Oil/SCM/S/4HANA.
Responsibilities:
Own functional architecture across IS-Oil components (Hydrocarbon logistics, secondary distribution) and SCM (SD/MM/LE/TM).
Translate business scenarios into target-state process designs and solution blueprints aligned to S/4HANA best practices.
Lead solution workshops, write functional specs, and validate integration designs with technical leads.
Define data dependencies/ownership across pricing, product, customer, and logistics master data.
Approve configuration approaches, WRICEF scope, and test coverage for IS-Oil/SCM workstreams.
Guide cutover prerequisites for logistics, pricing, and supply processes; support hypercare triage.
Govern change requests, ensuring scope alignment and impact analysis across dependent teams.
Mentor functional consultants; establish design standards and reusable patterns
