Compensation: $31.00 $34.00/hr + $1.50 shift differential (Hourly with overtime eligibility)

Position Overview
We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technician II professionals to join our manufacturing operations team. This newly opened role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, performing multi-craft maintenance, and supporting production through preventive and predictive maintenance practices. As a Level II Technician, you will take a hands-on leadership role in troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement efforts, helping to maintain equipment at peak operating performance.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment using systematic, logical methods.
Install, align, and maintain mechanical drive systems.
Perform preventive maintenance, including major service and overhauls.
Replace failed components and adjust equipment to operational specifications.
Maintain lubrication schedules and document equipment service history.
Test electrical systems using meters and diagnostic equipment to ensure safe, proper operation.
Install and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, lighting fixtures, and other components.
Recommend process improvements based on equipment performance observations.
Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians.
Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS.
Support safety initiatives and follow all prescribed safety procedures.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
Willingness to complete a one-on-one phone call with the hiring manager and an on-site interview if selected.
Ability to complete a 2 2.5 hour online assessment.
Proven experience in manufacturing environments, repairing and troubleshooting physical equipment (mechanical and electrical).
Clear documentation of products manufactured at previous employers and the types of machines repaired.
A minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance experience.
Technical Skills:
Strong background in both mechanical and electrical systems.
Proficient with computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CMMS software.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.
Skilled with shop equipment (drill press, band saw, portable power tools).
Capable of reading and using precision measuring devices.
Preferred:
2-year technical degree.
Experience mentoring or training others in maintenance processes.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
On-site role in a manufacturing facility.
Physical ability to work safely in an industrial environment, including standing, walking, and using tools for extended periods.
Adherence to environmental and safety procedures.
