JOB DESCRIPTION:

Seeking a highly engaged and motivated Full-Stack DevOps Engineer who is passionate about continuously improving their skills and learning new technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong JavaScript background; experience with Harness tools deploying Node/Javascript applications in an AWS/EKS environment; and familiarity with Kafka technologies. The Engineer will have experience in handling complex full-stack projects involving multiple functions, scalable databases, API integrations and cloud environments. The Engineer will be the primary liaison with the Enterprise Dev Ops and Infrastructure teams and must possess exceptional communication skills and be an excellent team player.

Job Responsibilities

REQUIRED:

5+ years of experience with ReactJS or NodeJS and GraphQL or a similar JavaScript framework

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Harness)

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/EKS)

Experience with Docker for containerization and orchestration

Knowledge of event streaming systems, particularly Kafka

Familiarity with Postgres and relational databases

Experience with Web Sockets and GraphQL Subscriptions for real-time data communication

Proficiency in Git and version control

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

Ability to work in an agile development environment

NICE TO HAVE:

Experience in travel or lodging applications, services, or operations

Technology certifications in Cloud solutions (AWS/Azure), Big Data, Spark/Scala

Enterprise or solution architecture experience
