Overview
We're seeking a QA professional with hands-on experience in voice AI technologies and transactional systems. This role involves testing across digital and in-store platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality product delivery in an Agile environment.
Key Qualifications
- Experience with Speech-to-Text (STT) and generative voice AI technologies (e.g., Google, SoundHound, ElevenLabs, MirrorFly, ChatGPT)
- Skilled in designing test cases, logging defects, and maintaining detailed QA documentation
- Solid understanding of Agile development practices and active participation in sprint ceremonies (planning, grooming, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives)
- Familiarity with Smoke, Functional, and Regression testing across integrated systems
- Proficient in using Jira or similar tools for test management and issue tracking
- Working knowledge of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and related peripherals (e.g., kitchen displays, receipt printers); experience with NCR Aloha suite is a plus
- Ability to identify test scenarios, execute across platforms, and analyze results for actionable insights
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams to plan and execute end-to-end testing strategies
- Provide QA input throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business requirements
- Conduct root cause analysis and deliver clear, consistent status updates to stakeholders
- Validate voice AI systems through verbal interaction testing and scenario simulation
- Prioritize tasks effectively across multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment
- Troubleshoot issues across web, mobile, and POS platforms with precision
- Proactively manage timelines, escalate risks, and minimize delivery disruptions
- Adapt to evolving tools, processes, and environments with resilience and agility
- Facilitate team progress by removing blockers and supporting decision-making
- Operate both independently and collaboratively, seeking alignment when needed
- Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), communicating results for release readiness
