Job Description:
The Information Security Analyst will monitor and report on the organization's security and confidentiality status. The role involves working with users to understand security requirements, preparing and supporting audits (IRS, SSA, OCSE, FBI, SBOA), and helping remediate audit findings. The analyst will develop security policies, standards, and SOPs based on federal and state requirements including NIST SP 800-53. Responsibilities also include recommending security safeguards for new and existing systems, ensuring proper use of hardware and software security features, implementing security management procedures, and performing periodic security audits. The role requires staying updated on laws and changes related to privacy, network, cloud, remote access, and physical security. Network administration experience is also required.

Required Qualifications:
8+ years of Information Security experience, knowledge of compliance standards (IRS, SSA, OCSE, FBI, NIST SP 800-53), experience with audits and remediation, ability to create policies and SOPs, understanding of security tools and practices, and network administration experience. A degree in Information Security or Technology is preferred.
