Job Details

Senior Red Hat Linux Administrator consultant.

The Senior Red Hat Linux Administrator will manage and optimize the AOC s Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.

The resource will be responsible for ensuring system stability, security, and performance while supporting a range of enterprise applications.

This role requires advanced expertise in Linux administration, automation, troubleshooting, and security best practices.

Qualifications:

  1. The Offeror shall propose a resource that meet the following minimum qualifications:
  2. Bachelor s degree, or postgraduate degree, in engineering, computer science, or related field (as determined by the AOC).

(1) The AOC has pre-determined that degrees in the following fields are not related:

Bachelors in Agricultural and Resource Economics and Masters in Business Administration.

  1. Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).

(1) The certification must be issued by Red Hat.

(2) The certification may be either current or non-current, provided that the certification

ID is supplied and in valid status for the proposed resource.

  1. The AOC prefers the Offeror s proposed resource to have the following qualifications:
  2. Ten (10) or more years of experience as a Red Hat system administrator.
  3. Ten (10) or more years of experience administering Unix (AIX) IBM pSeries systems.
  4. Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) field.
