job summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented HSE Data Analyst to support our Health, Safety, and Environment team. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving data-informed decisions by collecting, analyzing, and visualizing key HSE metrics. Your insights will help identify trends, enhance regulatory compliance, optimize resource utilization, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

responsibilities:


  • Gather and consolidate data from multiple sources within the HSE function.
  • Analyze data to detect trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Develop dashboards, charts, and visual reports to effectively present findings.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for management and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems.
  • Partner with HSE team members to understand data requirements and improve reporting processes.
  • Assist in refining data collection methodologies and implementing analytics best practices.


qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and visualization.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools, particularly Microsoft Excel; experience with other data platforms is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with HSE regulations is advantageous.
