Job Title: Sr. DevOps Engineer
Position Type: Contract
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid), 2 days remote with 3 days (Mon & Wed) required to be onsite
Interview Mode: MS Teams & In-person both

Note: Local to the Austin, TX area only (Within 50-mile radius)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to support and enhance the coordination between software development, IT operations, and quality assurance teams. This role focuses on automating and streamlining integration, deployment, and operational processes while enabling secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-native solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and automation, with a strong commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience working with AWS services, including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and VPC.
  • 8+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • 8+ years of experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong experience with monitoring and logging tools, including CloudWatch, Prometheus, and ELK stack.
  • Proficiency in Linux system administration, scripting (Python, Bash), and version control systems (Git).
  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
