Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Technician to support the design, development, and testing of circuit layouts for a wide range of electronic components and devices. This role involves hands-on PCB layout work, close collaboration with engineering teams, and detailed documentation responsibilities. The position is fully onsite, offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-precision engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage component libraries and perform PCB layouts with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
  • Conduct PCB layout reviews with design and hardware engineering teams.
  • Design PCB layouts for electronic devices and components, ensuring alignment with electrical and physical specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to interpret circuit design requirements.
  • Perform layout verification, testing, and validation to ensure design functionality and integrity.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including schematics, bills of materials (BoMs), fabrication files, and assembly instructions.
  • Respond to supplier inquiries related to BoMs, Gerber data, schematics, and other technical documentation.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a two- or four-year institution.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proficiency with Altium and PADS is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and internet-based software tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (due to export-controlled information requirements).
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with ECAD/CAM tools.
  • Electronic Design Architecture (EDA) experience.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 (depending on experience, performance, and location factors)
