Please note that this project assignment is with our own direct clients. We do not go through any vendors. STG only does business with direct end-clients. This is expected to be a long-term position. Job Description:

Role Description: The primary role for this resource will be to act as an SAP Workforce Software technical/functional subject matter expert. The project team will rely on your expertise to validate the recommendations made by our IP and to challenge them when appropriate. In addition to this primary role, we will expect this resource to serve in a variety of project roles

  • Testing: There will be a significant amount of testing required for this project and this resource will assist when necessary. This could include creating test scripts, executing test scripts or auditing/approving test results submitted by our implementation partner.
  • Reporting: There is a significant number of reports that must be developed to support this endeavor. The IP is responsible for developing these reports, however the team will help to identify the reporting needs, testing and tracking the deliverables provided by the IP vendor.
  • Other: The reason I included critical thinking, Communication & Facilitation skills as mandatory is because I expect there to be several tasks tasks/issues that need to be quickly resolved throughout the project. This resource should be able to facilitate discussion on the issue/task, reach a consensus and share the solution with the extended team so that we have a path forward and they will need to do so in an independent manner without a lot of direction.

 

Mandatory skills:

  • Experience with implementing Workforce Software for a large North American company.
  • Experience with configuring Workforce Software to meet business requirements that vary from what is delivered out of the box.
  • Experience with the technical tools provided with Workforce Software (e.g. API s, SFTP, Admin Tool, SAP Crystal Reports, SAP Business Objects, etc.)
  • Experience managing an external vendor to ensure deliverables are provided in a timely manner and meet our business & quality expectations.
  • Excellent English speaking/writing skills.
  • Critical thinking, communication and meeting facilitation skills.

 

Preferred skills

  • Functional experience with the Workforce Software Time, Attendance & Scheduling modules or experience with another Workforce Management/Timekeeping application.
  • Experience implementing a leading workforce management application (WFS, UKG, Ceridian, Infor, etc.)
  • SAP Business Objects platform experience (Crystal, BO Ad Hoc, BO Analytics)
  • Experience with Change Management & Web Based Training deliverables
  • Understanding of testing methodology, detail deliverables and ability to play a functional role in the strategy.

 

Education Required:

Bachelor s degree in computer or data science, engineering, statistics, operations research, or other quantitative area
