Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior React Developer to lead a small offshore development team and drive full-stack feature delivery for an internal ordering and inventory management platform. This is a long-term engagement with a focus on frontend excellence using React, Next.js or Remix, and Node.js on the backend.
The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, technical leader, and hands-on contributor with a history of effectively leading offshore developers in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:-
Lead and mentor two offshore developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and sprint planning support

Design, develop, and maintain responsive front-end features in React.js using either JavaScript or TypeScript

Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to ship new features and improvements

Work closely with backend teams to integrate RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs

Build and maintain full-stack functionality using Node.js on the backend

Contribute to codebase modernization using frameworks like Next.js or Remix

Ensure application scalability, performance, and security

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups
This role will support the development of new features for a business-critical ordering and inventory management tool, used internally across multiple business units at Charter Communications.
Required Skills & Experience:-
3+ years of professional development experience with React.js and JavaScript/TypeScript

3+ years of experience working with REST and/or GraphQL APIs

1+ year of backend development experience in Node.js, Python, Java, or GoLang
-
Prior experience leading offshore developers - must be able to demonstrate leadership in distributed team environments

Familiarity with Next.js or Remix for server-side rendered React applications

Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote-first teams

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure)

Background in telecommunications or enterprise software

Experience working in a product-led or internal agency-style environment
