Position: .NET Core / C# Developer with Database Expertise Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: Long-Term

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated .NET Core / C# Developer with strong database experience to join our team supporting enterprise-level applications for our client in Jersey City. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in backend development using .NET Core, strong understanding of database architecture, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using .NET Core and C#.
• Work with SQL Server and/or other RDBMS for data modeling, stored procedures, performance tuning, and complex queries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, QA, business analysts, and product owners.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural decision-making.
• Develop and maintain APIs and integration layers with other enterprise systems.
• Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code while ensuring best practices in software engineering.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in software development with .NET (preferably .NET Core).
• Strong proficiency in C# programming language.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.), including writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with Entity Framework/Core, LINQ, and RESTful API development.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
