Control Systems Engineer III

*This position required 30% travel*

Introduction:

Join EN Automation as a Control Systems Engineer to design automation solutions, support project execution, mentor engineers, and resolve technical issues. Collaborate on proposals, ensure best practices, and align system design with requirements, testing, and commissioning plans.

Responsibilities:

As a Control Systems Engineer and take the lead in delivering innovative automation solutions! In this role, you'll determine recommended system strategies, collaborate with Project Managers to develop migration roadmaps, program plans, and cost estimates, and partner with Business Development Managers to craft and present winning proposals. As the Lead Engineer, you'll support project execution by planning, scheduling, and coordinating technical efforts, while mentoring early-career engineers throughout implementation. You'll actively participate in client meetings, troubleshoot technical challenges, and ensure your team follows EN Automation's engineering processes, design tools, and best practices. From defining system requirements to developing test and commissioning plans, you'll ensure every aspect of control system design and development is aligned for success.

Minimum Requirements:

• BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3+ years of automation and controls
• Requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills and regular interaction with assigned project clients and partners (both internal and external to the company)
• Knowledge of multiple industry leading vendor platforms, architectures, and data communications for PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems such as, but not limited to, Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Inductive Automation, Aveva/Wonderware, Emerson, and ABB.
• Good understanding of system data collection, database management, and data analytics that support client's business decisions
