Job Title: Manager of IT Asset Management

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Manager of IT Asset Management to join our client to lead enterprise-wide technology asset and financial operations. This role will drive strategy for the full IT asset lifecycle from procurement through retirement while ensuring cost efficiency, governance compliance, and data integrity. The Manager will collaborate closely with Finance, Procurement, and Technology teams to oversee budgeting, vendor relations, and reporting, supporting informed business decisions and operational excellence across the organization. This is a direct-hire position based onsite in Philadelphia, PA.

Compensation:
$115,000 annually

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, standard business hours


Key Responsibilities of the Manager of IT Asset Management:

  • Oversee IT Asset Lifecycle: Lead the strategic management of hardware and software assets from acquisition through decommissioning, ensuring proper tracking, compliance, and secure disposal practices.

  • Drive Financial Planning and Budget Control: Partner with finance leadership to forecast hardware and software needs, manage departmental budgets, analyze costs, and provide detailed financial reporting to optimize spending.

  • Establish Governance and Compliance Standards: Develop and implement asset management policies, procedures, and internal controls that align with risk management, audit requirements, and organizational objectives.

  • Vendor and Contract Management: Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to manage vendor relationships, evaluate proposals, negotiate contract terms, and ensure compliance with licensing and renewal agreements.

  • Team Leadership and Operational Excellence: Supervise and mentor IT asset management staff, conduct performance reviews, and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, and service delivery across IT operations.


Qualifications and Skills for the Manager of IT Asset Management:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).

  • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-level IT asset management programs, including at least 1 year in a leadership or managerial role.

  • Strong understanding of financial management principles including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

  • Hands-on experience with IT Asset Management platforms (e.g., BMC Helix Client Management, Jira Service Management) and accounting systems such as Oracle Financials.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence decision-making.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with MS Project or Visio is a plus.
