RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client in New York, NY is hiring a Content Writer & Strategist that will balance hands-on writing with strategic oversight, focusing on content creation and the broader content strategy. This hybrid role is designed for someone who can bridge the gap between strategy and execution, dedicating 80% of your time to writing and 20% to shaping the direction of high-value content initiatives.

Responsibilities:
* Craft consumable, accurate, and engaging content for various platforms, including blogs, websites, social media, and print collateral
* Collaborate with the team to establish creative concepts and develop copies that resonate with our target audience
* Lead content strategy and creative direction for high-value projects as selected by leadership, particularly those needing strategic guidance before the writing phase
* Provide leadership and guidance on company-wide writing strategy, including organizing brand voice workshops, authoring and updating style guides, and facilitating a style council and writers guild
* Assure that assets accurately reflect the brand voice, style and legal guidelines
* Contribute to developing and enhancing writing enablement tools, such as repeatable writing guides and prototypes for new content types
* Offer guidance and feedback on using AI tools in content creation; Hold office hours to support the writers' guild
* Manage your projects end-to-end, ensuring all content's timeliness, completeness, and quality
* Proactively communicate with client teams, providing status updates and resolving issues to keep content strategies on track
* Track content performance metrics and regularly report insights to the marketing team, making data-driven recommendations to optimize content
* Conduct interviews with internal stakeholders and SMEs to generate content

REQUIREMENTS:
* Exceptional Writing Ability: Proven experience crafting clear, engaging, and accurate content across digital and print platforms, including blogs, websites, social media, and collateral
* Content Enablement: Experience creating and refining writing tools, templates, and prototypes to support scalable content development
* AI Content Integration: Familiarity with AI-assisted writing tools and ability to guide others in their effective use
* Brand Voice Expertise: Skilled in developing and maintaining brand voice consistency through style guides, workshops, and internal writing communities
* Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple content projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and timeliness
* Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally with stakeholders, SMEs, and client teams, including conducting interviews and providing updates
* Strategic Thinking: Ability to lead and shape content strategy for high-impact initiatives, aligning messaging with business objectives and audience needs
* Performance Analysis: Ability to track and interpret content performance metrics, using insights to optimize future content strategies
* Creative Ideation: Capable of contributing to and leading creative concept development that resonates with target audiences

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
