Program Manager (Remote)

We have an immediate need for a contract Program Manager to join our client, a national chain of convenience stores and gas stations. The Program Manager will provide leadership and facilitation of the Microsoft Global One Tenant (AD, O365, Azure) program. The position is responsible for planning, coordination, communicating and hiring the deployment team for the program delivery. This includes oversight of multiple work streams required to manage, develop, test and deliver the desired end state of globalizing Microsoft Tenant; AD, O365 and Azure.

Location: Remote

This job expects to pay about $86 - 89 per hour plus benefits.

What You Will Do:


  • Invoice and budget management including forecasting and accruals.
  • Define program scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate program expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Liaise with program stakeholders and technical teams on an ongoing basis.
  • Set and continually manage program expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Plan and schedule program timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track program milestones and deliverables.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the program team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Define program success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout program life cycle.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful program elements.
  • Develop best practices and tools for program execution and management.
  • Proactively manage changes in program scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Create the project Charter, budget, business case and deployment plan to seek funding approval to continue the multi-year deployment phase.

What Gets You the Job:


  • Bachelor s Degree in an information technology and/or management field, and/or equivalent management and work experience
  • 5-7 years of IT management experience with deep knowledge of IT Project Management.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing the merging of multiple Microsoft tenants
  • Knowledge of service, quality assurance, hardware, and application delivery.
  • Proven experience with managing vendors.
  • Excellent project management skills and substantial exposure to project-based work structures.
  • Excellent understanding of the organization s goals and objectives.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
