Job Description
The Senior Data Analyst, Enrollment and Marketing Insights, provides comprehensive data analysis and reporting to support Graduate Enrollment marketing and enrollment strategies. This role analyzes marketing campaign performance, website data, enrollment trends, and student lifecycle data to provide actionable insights that optimize marketing efforts, drive enrollment growth, and inform strategic decision-making.
The Analyst collaborates closely with both the Admission, Operations, & Policy team and the Strategic Marketing & Communication team.

The Senior Data Analyst, Enrollment and Marketing Insights, provides comprehensive data analysis and reporting to support Graduate Enrollment marketing and enrollment strategies. This role analyzes marketing campaign performance, website data, enrollment trends, and student lifecycle data to provide actionable insights that optimize marketing efforts, drive enrollment growth, and inform strategic decision-making.
The Analyst collaborates closely with both the Admission, Operations, & Policy team and the Strategic Marketing & Communication team.
Essential Functions:
- Enrollment Data Analysis
- Analyze key enrollment metrics (application volume, yield rates, time-to-decision, etc.) to identify trends, predict outcomes, and inform strategic enrollment planning.
- Analyze student data across the entire enrollment lifecycle (prospecting, application, decision, enrollment, and persistence) to identify areas for improvement and optimize conversion rates.
- Partner directly with school/college graduate admission and academic leaders, in collaboration the Enrollment Systems & Data Manager, to analyze admission and enrollment data and provide recommendations for addressing complex graduate admission questions.
- Collaborate with AI experts and the Graduate Enrollment Operations team to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of AI models used in the graduate admissions process, ensuring ethical and responsible use.
- Marketing Data Analysis
- Leverage GA4 to analyze digital marketing campaign performance, user behavior, and website effectiveness.
- Develop and refine attribution models to understand the impact of marketing touchpoints on the student journey.
- Provide actionable recommendations to the marketing team and the Director of Digital Marketing & Advertising to optimize marketing campaigns and improve ROI.
- Integrated Marketing and Enrollment Analysis
- Integrate Slate CRM data with GA4 data to provide a holistic view of the student lifecycle and the effectiveness of marketing efforts on enrollment outcomes.
- Analyze how marketing activities influence enrollment outcomes and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Marketing and Communication team to align marketing data with overall enrollment trends and strategic goals.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for AI-driven personalization of marketing messages and evaluate the effectiveness of AI-powered marketing initiatives.
- Data Reporting and Visualization
- Develop and maintain clear and concise reports and dashboards to communicate data findings to the marketing team, operations team, and other stakeholders.
- Present data insights in a clear and actionable manner, using data storytelling techniques to convey key findings and recommendations.
- Scholarship Analysis and Data Modeling
- Partner directly with schools and colleges to develop scholarship award strategies and optimize the allocation of scholarship funds.
- Develop and maintain data models and reports related to master's program scholarships and financial aid.
- Analyze scholarship data to identify trends and patterns in award allocation and student acceptance rates.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, data analytics, statistics, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or a related role, preferably in higher education.
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and experience in analyzing digital marketing data.
- Experience with attribution modeling and student journey analysis.
- Experience analyzing enrollment data and developing enrollment forecasts.
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with advanced statistical methods, predictive modeling, or machine learning is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts, AI tools, or experience working on AI-related projects is desirable. Understanding of ethical considerations in AI, such as bias detection and mitigation, is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Slate) is a plus.
