Key Skills:
Oracle GoldenGate (mandatory)
Amazon Aurora / Aurora DSQL expertise
Java backend development (mandatory)
Kubernetes familiarity (nice to have)

Role & Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and support database replication solutions using Oracle GoldenGate
Build and maintain real-time data replication and CDC pipelines
Work on Java-based backend services interacting with databases and replication layers
Manage and optimize Aurora / Aurora DSQL environments for performance and scalability
Troubleshoot replication latency, data consistency, and failure scenarios
Collaborate with application, DevOps, and cloud teams in distributed environments
Support cloud-native deployments and database modernization initiatives
Participate in design reviews, production support, and performance tuning activities

Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience as a Database Engineer / Data Engineer
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate
Solid Java backend development experience
Experience working with Aurora or cloud-based databases
Understanding of CDC, replication, and data consistency concepts
Ability to work independently in a remote setup
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
