Job Details

Job Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain commercial fire alarm systems and components to ensure proper functionality.
  • Troubleshoot systems to diagnose issues such as ground faults, open circuits, and short circuits.
  • Educate customers on the functionality and operation of their fire alarm systems.
  • Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with commercial fire alarm systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Experience using electronic testing devices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • NICET II, III, or IV Fire Life Safety certification.
  • Experience in low voltage or security systems.
  • Manufacturer certifications for fire alarm systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and functionality.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs; push/pull over 75 lbs.
  • Comfortable working at heights (ladders, man lifts).
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions and loud environments.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands and arms.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
