Job Title: Oracle EDMCS Consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: Long-term Contract

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EDMCS Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle's Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise data governance, metadata management, and Oracle EPM/ERP ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement EDMCS solutions for managing enterprise hierarchies and metadata across financial, operational, and analytical systems.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture governance requirements and translate them into EDMCS structures, validations, and workflows.
  • Configure data views, node types, hierarchies, properties, bindings, and subscriptions for multiple applications (ERP, EPM, HCM, etc.).
  • Integrate EDMCS with Oracle Cloud (e.g., EPBCS, FCCS, ERP Cloud) and third-party systems via REST APIs or flat-file loads.
  • Implement data governance workflows, security, and role-based access to support controlled updates and auditability.
  • Support metadata lifecycle management, including change request reviews, validations, and approvals.
  • Ensure high data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems by aligning EDMCS structures with business rules and best practices.
  • Document solution design, mappings, integration strategies, and perform knowledge transfer to end users and support teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in data management or Oracle EPM/ERP implementations, with 2 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EDMCS.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise data structures (charts of accounts, cost centers, legal entities, etc.) and hierarchy governance.
  • Proven experience configuring EDMCS views, applications, and workflows.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, flat-file integrations, and data synchronization with Oracle EPM/ERP applications.
  • Strong grasp of data governance principles, master data management (MDM), and change management.
  • Ability to work directly with business users and functional teams to define and implement metadata strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle EDMCS or EPM Cloud certification.
  • Experience with EPBCS, FCCS, HFM, or ERP Cloud integration.
  • Prior experience migrating from DRM/DRG or other MDM platforms to EDMCS.
