Job Description/qualifications for dispatch technicians:
1. Associate degree in information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Minimum of 2+ years of IT Support experience.
3. Excellent communication skills, interacting with AMD employees and contractors at any level.
4. Experience working in a global company.
5. Strong technical skills in supporting x86/x64 hardware platforms, Windows 10, MacOS, Apple iOS, and Android mobile OS.
6. Technical knowledge in network switching devices and firewalls, servers and storage
subsystems.
7. Working knowledge of audio/video conferencing equipment.
8. Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities and core applications, including PC diagnostics, SCCM, security endpoint protection software, MFA & VPN.
9. Experience working in an Active Directory environment including SCCM (SMS).
10. Experience with Mac OS X, JAMF is a plus.
11. Experience working with 3rd party vendors in both support and contract areas.
12. Knowledge navigating 3rd party vendor applications ad websites.
13. Concentrated focus on defect reduction and quality of services.
14. Excellent customer relations and customer support skills.
15. Experience working in a team-oriented, global, collaborative environment
16. Laptop/Desktop Repair and Resolution
17. Whole Unit Replacement, as needed
18. Diagnosis & resolution of COTS based application problems and conflict
19. Manual Imaging/re-imaging of the devices
20. System Fault verification and troubleshooting
21. Conference support (AV/VC Support) health check
22. Business application support
23. Respond to incidents
24. Provide smart hands support
25. Rack and stack support including Networking, firewall, server, storage, as well as
