Job Title: Junior Telecom Core Engineer (1–3 Years)
Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite)
Type: Full-time
Job Summary
We are hiring junior-level engineers to join our Telecom Core Network team. The ideal candidate has foundational knowledge of 5G/4G Core concepts, call flows, and core network architecture, supported by 1–3 years of hands-on experience or strong academic coursework. You will be involved in core network operations, troubleshooting, and supporting live telecom environments.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring, validating, and troubleshooting 4G EPC and 5G Core network components.
Support analysis of SA/NSA call flows, session management, and mobility events.
Work with senior engineers to investigate issues across core nodes (AMF/SMF/UPF/MME/HSS/UDM/PCF).
Perform basic log analysis and support root cause investigation for service failures.
Assist in configuration updates, test case execution, and documentation tasks.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for network enhancements and issue resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Networking, or related IT field.
1–3 years of industry experience OR strong academic exposure in:
5G SA (Standalone) & NSA (Non-Standalone) architecture
4G EPC (Evolved Packet Core)
Understanding of 3GPP-based Voice and Packet Core call flows
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in a high-paced telecom environment and collaborate with diverse engineering teams.
Nice to Have
Experience working with telecom protocol analyzers (Wireshark, QXDM, QCAT, TEMS).
Exposure to IMS, VoLTE, VoNR call flows.
Familiarity with scripting (Python/Shell) for log analysis is a plus.
