RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Software Development Engineer II in Bellevue, WA.
Summary:
The Software Development Engineer will work on the delivery experience QA team. This team will support the testing of any of the newer features, migration, or applications that are being performed on those pages, as well as the services that are performed on those pages. The QA team has both QAEs & SDETs. QAs work on the functional testing part of it - the manual test plan creation, test execution, making sure feature is being manually tested. SDETs are trying to find opportunities to automate them so they can scale the testing efforts and reduce the manual efforts that they are testing any of the features.
The Software Development Engineer will be part of the SDET group - where they will work on building frameworks, onboarding services to amazon proprietor frameworks for any of the shadow testing, and make sure they have good test coverage across their services. They will work on solving some problems with the test data that the QA's may have, doing the testing. This role will build tools on platforms such as Native & AWS - then using the services so they have a way to use the customer orders for internal testing. They are expected to work on operational excellence (tickets, adding to security risk, making sure rules/frameworks are up to date for company policies).
REQUIREMENTS:
* BA in Engineering is great to have, but not required with the right experience
* Java certification around 17 or 11 would be an added value, but not a requirement
* 3+ (4+ ideally) years of experience
* AWS /Native experience
* Java experience
* Knowledge on automating smaller tasks (using Python or Java Script)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
