About this Position:
Job Title: GIS Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement, maintain, and provide technical support as the ArcGIS Server Administrator Assistant.
- Coordinate and develop scripting and database management with the Database Administrator Assistant.
- Design, implement, and/or modify web, mobile, and client/server-based GIS applications for program areas.
- Provide technical backup to other modules as assigned. Adheres to Information Technology application development standards and security requirements. Provide appropriate administrative documentation/project communication.
- Allow flexibility to support smaller agency GIS projects or consultation. Participate in agency meetings that support understanding the scope of GIS applications within agency goals and strategies.
Required Skills:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in geography or a related field and 3+ years of work experience in the development and maintenance of geographic information systems (GIS).
- 3+ years of experience utilizing ESRI's ArcGIS Maps SDK.
- 3+ years of experience with scripting and development languages (Python, HTML, CSS, JQuery and Bootstrap, C#).
- 3+ years of experience with SQL Database, ArcGIS Server Administration for ArcGIS Enterprise.
- 3+ years of experience with GIS software standards and capabilities. Ability to analyze and accommodate GIS user requirements. Ability to develop and manage GIS projects effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of ArcGIS server infrastructure and ArcGIS Enterprise Portal maintenance.
