RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Java/Spring, Oracle, AWS in Merrimack, NH.
Key Tasks:
* Design and implementation of software solutions that meet requirements and align with the project/program strategic direction
* Adhere to engineering best practices and participate in design and code reviews
* Develop and maintain partnerships across the organization
* Work as part of a team in a collaborative environment to deliver an exceptional experience for our clients
* Identify creative ways to drive desired outcomes and promote a culture of innovation by setting examples
* Collaborate with peers through code reviews, pair programming, or interactive discussions daily
* Follow outstanding software engineering practices and always look to improve your engineering skills and industry knowledge
* Bring a data-driven and team approach to decision-making, both in day-to-day work and in making strategic trade-offs
* Collaborate with business and technology partners to define and deliver our strategy and roadmap based on business requirements
* Engage with a distributed team of developers in leading standard methodologies for software engineering
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
* 6+ years of relevant full stack development experience with architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining multi-tier applications
* Strong expertise with the following desired skills: Java/JEE, Spring/Spring boot, RESTful Services, Python, Cloud (AWS), Test and Deployment technologies, Kubernetes, Angular
* Strong experience with web services (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, YAML, etc.)
* Hands-on experience with API design and development, AWS (Cloud) Migration, Data Design, Batch Processing, Workflow/Process Automation, and UI
* Expert understanding of the software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution, and planning
* Familiarity with delivering solutions to the market and having them scale for product growth with recognition of technology trends in implementing business applications
* Cloud skills working with AWS EKS/ECS and AWS handled solutions such as Lambda, SQS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM roles/policies
* Proficiency with front-end frameworks, libraries, and related technologies
* Experience using logging/observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, and ELK Stack
* Strong CI/CD skills including full-scale security and quality testing, build and deployment automation
* Excellent analytical, communication, and preparation skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Proficient with Agile methodologies
* Terracore experience preferred, CloudFormation Templates at minimum
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
