About the role

The Project Coordinator will be a vital member of our project management team, responsible for supporting operations and quality managers and leading process improvement initiatives. This role requires a unique blend of project coordination, data-driven reporting, and hands-on experience with Six Sigma methodologies to drive efficiency and operational excellence across our organization. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem-solver who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Reporting and data analysis:
  • Develop, maintain, and validate reports and dashboards from scratch using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Collect, analyze, and transform messy, unreliable datasets into trustworthy reporting pipelines to provide accurate business insights.
  • Present complex data findings and analysis to non-technical audiences clearly and concisely.
  • Define and maintain metric definitions in line with evolving business goals.

Six Sigma and process excellence:

  • Apply Six Sigma and Lean methodologies (e.g., DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis) to identify process inefficiencies and drive sustainable improvements.
  • Facilitate process improvement activities and workshops with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct Time and Motion studies to analyze workflow and improve productivity.
  • Measure the success of process improvement initiatives and ensure long-lasting results.

Qualifications Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Project Coordinator or similar rote.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to motivate teams and gain buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello).

Certifications:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required; Black Belt is preferred.
