Location: MN-Oak Park Heights, Hybrid 3-4 days onsite

Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a MES BA, you will join Turnberry's Business Transformation practice. Turnberry's Business Transformation practice is dedicated to diagnosing and addressing core business challenges including regulatory compliance, full-scale implementation, managing change and driving continuous improvement across transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Act as the liaison between engineering, supply chain, plant operations, and software development teams to enhance MES capabilities

Work closely with plant engineers and CPI (Continuous Process Improvement) teams to analyze requests and convert them into actionable user stories and backlog items

Translate highly customized BOMs and routing sequences into MES requirements with clear Agile acceptance criteria

Read and interpret Java-based logic (not coding but understanding flow, logic, and structure) to map out production workflows

Support MES configuration changes related to routing, tasks, and sequencing of custom door production

Collaborate in Agile ceremonies (Tues-Thurs) and assist with testing, documentation, and release validation

Prioritize and manage requests from multiple value streams and supply chain stakeholders

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in manufacturing or MES environments (preferably discrete/custom assembly)

Exposure to MES platforms; understanding of production workflows, value streams, and BOMs

Familiarity with reading Java code structures, especially around task sequencing and routing

Ability to gather, write, and test Agile user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria

Strong communication skills and comfort working in cross-functional Agile teams

Experience working with or supporting plant engineers, CPI teams, and supply chain in manufacturing settings

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in discrete manufacturing (doors/windows/automotive/custom equipment)

Familiarity with Jira or similar Agile tracking tools

Experience working in a hybrid Agile-Waterfall or Agile production cadence

The salary range for this role is $85,000 to $125,000 or the hourly equivalent.
