Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer III to join our team in Cupertino, California. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, innovative problem-solving skills, and a passion for developing high-quality software solutions. This is a contract position offering an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects.

• Client's Human Interface Devices Software team is responsible for delivering high-quality drivers, frameworks and tools supporting sensing technologies across all Client products.
• Primarily supporting Multitouch technology, clients have deep experience developing systems software and building stacks that enable the best user-experience.
• Clients work closely with Algorithms, Firmware, Design, and UI teams to ensure sensor and software performance is optimized across all layers of the stack.
• Client is looking for a passionate contractor to lead an effort to revamp client's visualization and metrics tooling infrastructure.
• As a software engineer supporting the HID SW team, candidates will help us build tooling and infrastructure to visualize sensor data and automate metrics collection and dashboards for the team.
• Candidate will gain encyclopedic knowledge of client's area of focus and the tooling landscape within client's org.
• Client is looking for someone with experience coding in full stack to build end to end metrics and visualization tools (think: from low level frameworks to a Mac native or web front end) and excellent communication skills, because of the high level of interaction with the engineering teams, management, other organizations within Client.
• The ideal candidate will be highly technical, creative, motivated, and focused on achieving results

Key Qualifications:

• Strong C/C++/Objective-C and object-orientated programming skills, including scripting languages
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with code you've never seen before, and understand the pertinent functionality
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Self-directed, analytical, and comfortable working in a team environment
• Experience developing native (MacOS) or web apps.

Pay Range: $75hr - $75hr on w2
