Job Description
- Strong communicator with a professional and polished presence. Higher education experience preferred.
- Comfortable engaging with banking institutions, finance teams, business offices, donors, alumni, and staff.
- 5+ years of Raiser's Edge and iWave Expereince for databases
- Strong back end technical expereince for high level processes
- Blackbaud experience
- Maintain and manage Windward s Raiser s Edge and iWave Development & Alumni Databases.
- Collaborate with the Director of IT to perform Raiser s Edge updates, maintenance, and integration with Education Edge.
- Establish and apply best practices in database administration to ensure optimal data management systems.
- Ensure database accuracy and relevance for donors, alumni, parents, grandparents, foundations, corporations, and other stakeholders.
- Process and record all gifts, pledges, and payments.
- Generate gift acknowledgments and pledge reminders.
- Design and run database queries to fulfill internal data requests and generate reports on gifts, fundraising progress, and financials.
- Create mailing lists, donor recognition lists, prospect files, and reports using Raiser s Edge for annual giving and campaign efforts.
- Utilize Raiser s Edge, iWave, Student Admin, Google Suite, Excel, and Word to manage and report data.
- Prepare annual donor recognition lists for school publications.
- Serve as liaison between Advancement, IT, Business Office, and external vendors like Blackbaud to manage system integrations.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of all donor data and records.
- Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain data integrity.
- Reconcile fundraising reports with the Business Office and prepare data for audits.
Campaign Management
- Manage the Prospect Management and Tracking System for the Capital Campaign, Major Gifts, and Windward Fund.
- Track proposals, staff and volunteer assignments, and cultivation/solicitation efforts.
- Create standard and custom campaign reports for fundraising initiatives (Annual Fund, Major Gifts, Spring Event, etc.).
- Attend campaign and major gift meetings; track and update related action items.
- Oversee and support prospect screening and ratings.
