The company is seeking a Senior Data Modeler to join our growing team. As a Senior

Data Modeler, you'll get the opportunity collaborate across the company in a dynamic

environment. You will work closely with product teams, data engineering teams,

architecture, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate

them into conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Using data modeling and

collaboration tools, you ll help design, implement data model for Analytical, operational

and transactional solutions.

Responsibilities:

Partner with Architects, Engineers, Analysts and product owners, to design and

manage the structure of an organization's data systems to optimize data storage,

accessibility, and usability

Develop and collaborate to establish data modeling standards, for analytical,

operational and transactions databases

Create logical, conceptual and physical data models for analytical, operational and

transactional solutions

Enforce and maintain compliance with data modeling standards across all

solutions

Execute knowledge management, thought leadership and innovation activities; act

as an advisor and mentor to technical resources providing guidance and motivation

Provide data modeling guidance and coaching to developers and engineers; may

act as mentor to technical team members

Collaborate with data governance on cataloging, data related policies, data lineage related activities Be a subject matter expert for development teams as part of implementation Document and maintain data modeling artifacts, acts as custodian of the data models, and publish the models for wider use across the organization Skills You Bring: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer/data science technical or related experience 5+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience Strong SQL knowledge and work experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake Experience with modeling tools (PowerDesigner or Erwin or ER Studio or others) required High competence defining data modelling standards and guidelines as well help teams adopt complex large-scale and global data driven implementations Demonstrate hands-on data modeling, ER diagram and enterprise software design experience for OLTP (relational) and analytical systems including, a good understanding of semantic data modeling concepts, multi-Fact model and time series data handling Ability to quickly grasp technological, business concepts, key domain and entities Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience communicating with engineers, architects and product management to explain technical and functional concepts Ability to assess the accuracy completeness and consistency of data models as well as maintaining relevant documentation Proficiency with data catalog and data lineage toolset (E.g. Alation, Collibra) Expertise working with data governance team to identify and capturing business and technical metadata associated with various data entities Desire to work within a fast-paced environment with short release cycles and an agile development methodology

Capable of working on multiple projects/products simultaneously and comfortable working with minimal specifications Strong Domain knowledge / Financial Industry experience required
