About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Java Backend Developer to drive the architecture, development, and delivery of high-performance, scalable backend services for our cloud-based platform, ensuring technical excellence and mentoring our growing engineering team.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex, robust backend systems using Java.
  •  & Design: Define technical specifications, create Low-Level Designs (LLDs), and ensure alignment with overall system architecture.
  • : Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers on best practices.
  • : Write clean, efficient, and testable code for APIs (RESTful), business logic, and database interactions.
  •  & Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimizing applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
  • : Work closely with architects, product managers, and front-end teams to translate requirements into functional features.
  • : Guide and grow the backend team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • : Manage technical tasks, timelines, and deliverables for assigned features or modules. 
 
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience (e.g., 8+ years) in Java backend development.
  • Expertise in Java,  (Spring Boot, Spring Batch), Microservices, and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL, Hibernate) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with ,  (Git), and testing frameworks (JUnit).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
