Role: Data Solution Lead-W2

Location: Erie, PA (Onsite 5 days/week)
Primary Skills: AWS, Data Lake, Athena, Iceberg, Glue, Terraform, Snowflake

Role Overview

Lead the design and implementation of modern, cloud-native data platforms leveraging AWS. Partner with business and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable data, analytics, and BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design and delivery of modern data platforms (Data Lake, DW, Analytics) on AWS

  • Define data architecture, roadmaps, and best practices

  • Drive data & analytics strategy focused on performance, scalability, and cost

  • Collaborate with business, IT, and architecture teams

  • Lead cloud data solution design, prototyping, and implementation

  • Guide customers on AWS adoption and data maturity

  • Support analytics, BI, and predictive use cases (P&C Insurance preferred)

Required Experience

  • 14+ years overall experience; 4+ years in cloud-native data solutions

  • Strong AWS data ecosystem expertise (Glue, Athena, Iceberg, Snowflake)

  • Experience with modern data architectures and data engineering

  • Hands-on with ETL/ELT, Kafka, and cloud data platforms

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and analytics

  • Experience working across data engineering, BI, and analytics teams

Nice to Have

  • AWS SageMaker experience

  • Data Mesh / Data Products exposure
