Job Description:
  • Drive technology data research and innovation strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency, passenger experience, and long-term IT sustainability.
  • Oversee a team of IT professionals, researchers, and engineers to analyze technology trends and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Report to the Chief Data Officer (CDO) with autonomy to develop and implement research-driven technology initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute innovation strategies aligned with operational goals.
  • Lead enterprise data management efforts including metadata management and data lifecycle practices.
  • Promote and enforce data governance across all AIS functions.
  • Guide adoption of Microsoft Power Platform for low-code/no-code development.
  • Lead a cross-functional team to research, pilot, and deploy IT and data solutions.
  • Evaluate and implement AI, IoT, automation, and geospatial technologies.
  • Oversee Power BI dashboards and Power Apps for operational transparency.
  • Establish and maintain data governance frameworks and access protocols.
  • Deploy AI/ML tools for forecasting, anomaly detection, and optimization.
  • Integrate enterprise data systems with internal and external platforms.
  • Foster collaboration between business and IT for analytics support.
  • Define KPIs and drive continuous improvement through feedback and automation.
  • Conduct audits for solution compliance and effectiveness.
  • Represent AIS in industry conferences and prepare strategic presentations.
Should Have:

  • Expertise in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate.
  • Skilled in evaluating technology trends and feasibility.
  • Experience managing complex IT projects and vendor coordination.

  • Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.

Qualification And Education:

  • Experience in aviation, transportation, or public sector preferred.
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations, cybersecurity standards, and airport IT ecosystems.
