Job Details

Job Title: Front Office Project Manager / Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid at either Jersey City or NYC office

Role Objectives

  • Business Analysis for strategic projects and enhancements across vanilla and exotic FX Desks
  • Facilitate daily/weekly Developer scrums, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support agile activities, including user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, product backlog grooming, and identifying key dependencies and risks.
  • Lead new projects from inception through go live, managing the project lifecycle across authoring Project Initiation Documents/Business Requirements Documents, Status Reports, leading Front to Back UAT across Users/Developers
  • Coordinate with Department stakeholders to track milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with Agile Delivery Leads on the creation of the solution roadmap and providing timely status of deliverables related to roadmap execution.
  • Document QA test plans and execute test cases. Liaise with business users to create test plans, manage testing, and track defects, enhancements, and questions.
  • Write user documentation and conduct training sessions on new functionality as needed.
  • Assist with production implementation & coordinate user validation across impacted Control Functions
  • Participate in general BA work including production support and BAU enhancements of in-house business applications.

Qualifications / Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in bank capital markets as a Project Manager / Business Analyst with experience relating to Front, Middle Office and/or Back Office system implementations or equivalent operational experience.
  • Strong OTC Products experience across FX Products, Risk Analysis, Market Operations.
  • Prior Business Analyst experience in Capital Markets or Fixed Income Products, ability to demonstrate projects successfully launched and benefits.
  • Front to Back Trade support experience across booking new trades, trade affirmation, clearing, lifecycle events (Allocations, Novation, Terminations, Restructurings)
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Strong skills working with MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word, MS Power Point & SharePoint.
  • Bachelor's degree. Finance, Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
