Job Title: Technical Support Service Desk

Location: Plano TX

Duration: X Months Contract on Mphasis Pay Roll

Job Description:

Candidates with a minimum X years of Service Desk experience Those with technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills with excellent English-speaking skills and willing to work in rotational shifts.

Job responsibilities would include inbound & outbound calling, responding on emails and triaging technical and non-technical queries or complaints related to migration of applications.

Technical Skills:

  • Should have working knowledge and understanding of various Operating Systems (Unix/Windows), Middleware, Desktop, Laptop, VPN, APIs and FTP.
  • Should have the ability to triage technical and non-technical client queries, read verbose logs, for IPs, URLs, etc.,
  • Good to have understanding of
    • Transmissions, firewalls, protocols, and security
    • Various FTP communication technologies
    • FTP transport and payload security technologies
    • Cryptography settings (ciphers, KEX, HMAC)
    • Application and system logs

Skills:

  • Effective business communication skills
  • Active listening and probing skills
  • Navigate through ticketing tools, procedures and knowledge base articles.
  • Receptive for feedback and willing to learn
