Overview:
A skilled and reliable Field Service Technician is needed to install, maintain, and troubleshoot safety and level gauging systems on industrial and commercial marine vessels. This position requires hands-on experience with electrical systems, the ability to work independently, and comfort working in dynamic, outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain safety and level gauging systems on marine vessels.
• Install electrical conduit, bend pipe, and run marine-grade cabling.
• Test, inspect, and diagnose electrical systems for functionality and continuity.
• Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and loop calibrators.
• Apply basic knowledge of PLC programming, industrial automation, and process control.
• Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, and basic PC networking applications effectively.
• Manage assigned company assets including vehicles, tools, laptops, and inventory.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and climbing into confined spaces or cargo tanks.
• Operate independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced, field-based setting.
• Comply with all safety regulations, practices, and procedures.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and team members.
• Submit accurate service and expense reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance during all customer interactions.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and necessary certifications.

Qualifications:

• Technical degree, certifications, or 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license, TWIC card, and passport (or ability to obtain).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug testing.

Working Conditions:

• Majority of work performed outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
• Potential exposure to industrial noise levels and other on-site hazards.
• Adherence to strict safety protocols is mandatory.
