The Desktop Support Technician will provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for end users in a Windows 10/11 environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting for hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Support end users with configuration, installation, and maintenance of Windows 10/11 systems.
- Perform imaging of machines and deploy workstation setups, ensuring proper configuration and functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including IP addressing and basic LAN troubleshooting.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and processes in the IT ticketing system.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets and assist with lifecycle management.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems and common enterprise applications.
- Experience with imaging tools and workstation deployment processes.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
