Pay: $70/Hr on W2 or $85/Hr on 1099. NO C2C.
OHFA is seeking a highly qualified project manager to help implement software that will comply with federal compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have production experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans. The project manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our goals of implementation and data migration are achieved.
Objectives of this role
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
- Lead project(s) from defining requirements through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
Serve as a primary liaison with any Contractor selected for the Project, ensuring that the Contractor completes the mandated work tasks and activities, provides all deliverables, and meets all requirements pursuant to the Project scope, the agreed upon SOW, and the Project contract
Complete and/or maintain the required Project tracking documentation which includes, but is not limited to:
Project meeting agendas, attendance sheets, and meeting minutes
A SOW for all Project Sponsors and any Contractor selected for the Project
An IT Project Implementation Plan including activities, assignments and timeframes pertinent to
o testing new technology,
o user acceptance of new technology
o training users
o rolling out new technology
o Integrating new technology into existing OHFA systems
- Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
- Address new operational risks and/or opportunities created by the new software(s) including but not limited to the development and deployment of new workflows, new roles/responsibilities, communication strategies, etc.
