Job Title: ServiceNow Business Analyst

Location: 100% Remote

Job Type: 5 Months Contract (Short term contract)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Business Analyst to support the identification, documentation, and integration of Business Services and Service Offerings into the ServiceNow CMDB. This role involves working closely with application and business owners to map services, test configurations, and deliver dashboards for visibility and ongoing management.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and document Business Services and Business Service Offerings within the organization.

Conduct interviews with application owners and business stakeholders to capture business processes and process phases.

Create standardized templates for loading service information into the ServiceNow CMDB.

Collaborate with technical teams to configure and test CMDB updates in lower-tier environments (e.g., Dev, QA).

Validate all configurations and data entries in the production environment for accuracy and completeness.

Build and maintain ServiceNow dashboards to provide visibility into services, dependencies, and performance metrics.

Ensure alignment with CMDB governance, data model standards, and ITIL best practices.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 7 years focused on ServiceNow CMDB and ITSM modules.

Proven ability to elicit and document business processes through stakeholder interviews and workshops.

Experience identifying, defining, and structuring business services and offerings.

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules such as CMDB, Discovery, and Performance Analytics.

Skilled in building dashboards, reports, and visualizations in ServiceNow.

Familiarity with ITIL framework, especially around service design and service asset/configuration management.

Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in large enterprise environments or with MSPs.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or CMDB certification is a plus.

Experience with scripting in ServiceNow (JavaScript) for form rules, UI policies, etc., is a bonus.
