Everest is seeking a visionary Solutions Architect to lead the global adoption of our Guidewire cloud platform and drive innovation across our specialized insurance products. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of enterprise strategy, cloud transformation, and platform modernization-perfect for a strategic thinker who thrives in complex, fast-evolving environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Global Platform Strategy: Own the rollout and evolution of the Guidewire cloud platform across Everest's insurance ecosystem
  • Roadmap Development: Build and maintain a long-term platform roadmap aligned with business goals and Guidewire's product evolution
  • Portfolio Oversight: Evaluate and guide application selection to ensure optimal platform fit and performance
  • Modernization & Innovation: Lead efforts to adopt new technical capabilities, drive standardization, and scale solutions globally
  • Architecture Excellence: Ensure solution designs meet best practices, integration standards, and enterprise architecture principles
  • Team Enablement: Mentor delivery teams and architects, lead technical workshops, and foster a culture of continuous learning
  • Cloud Readiness: Assess and support transformation initiatives to ensure seamless migration and adoption of cloud-native capabilities
  • Tooling & Governance: Track software versions, manage open-source and third-party tools, and maintain architecture documentation

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ years in software development, with 3+ years in architecture roles
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire, including cloud platform implementations
  • Familiarity with Commercial Lines (Auto, Workers' Comp, Liability) is a plus
  • Expertise in designing scalable, resilient cloud applications
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and networking
  • Preferred certifications: Guidewire Cloud, Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform Architecture
  • Experience with data migration, analytics, and insurance data models

The base salary range for this position is $173,000 - $237,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location. All offers include access to a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
