Final Secret required to start with ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.

As a Systems Engineer within the program Production Integrated Product Team (IPT), this role will be responsible for design, implementation and trouble shooting of a complex hybrid network with multiple system types and functions integrating multiple DMG-MORI CNC systems (including autonomous mobile robots) with objectives to scale from a research and development phase into a large-scale production system. Tasks include optimizations and maintaining the system network to meet the final large scaled "lights out" automated machining center objectives.

Responsibilities include:
-Proficient in designing secure networks through standup, test/development, and final deployment, to include classless subnetting, port mapping, and troubleshooting skills.
-Report to leadership and key stakeholders regarding system findings and making recommendations and providing clear roadmaps for successful changes.1
-Able to clearly articulate a computer system's hardware and software specifications based on customer requirements.
-Ability to analyze complex system problems and develop effective solutions.
-Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects at the same time.
-Creates and presents system architecture documentation artifacts to various stakeholders. Artifacts include, but not limited to, detailed network diagrams with informational data flows and how system components interact.
-Hardware setup and configuration and troubleshooting.

Basic Qualifications

-Security+ certification (or other DoD 8570
Compliant Certification).
-Experience working with embedded vendor operating systems and familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) environments.
-Experience in implementing Windows Server based environments to effectively operate with other system hardware and software components.
-Experience in Linux operating systems.
-Experience with Virtual machine setup, management and troubleshooting skills.
-Ability to obtain TOP SECRET Clearance required for this role with an minimum of an Final Secret clearance to start.
-ship required. No Dual Citizenship.

Desired skills

-Active Top Secret clearance.
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
-Experience presenting and closely interacting with various business stakeholders to ensure developed system architectures meet the desired needs of the business or customer requirements.
-Experience and strong understanding of system integrations, interfaces, interactions, designs, and principles.
-Experience hardening network devices and operating systems/applications utilizing DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
-Experience implementing and managing ports, protocols, and services (PPSM), and listing through network devices and software-based firewall solutions.
-Experience and knowledgeable in various system operating software and security-related software technology.
-SNMP Trap management, integration with operations management tools and MIB browser knowledge.
-Siemens Networking and Technology experience
-Willing to enhance skills through engaging in training for manufacturing type information systems, automated tools, machine tool operational data flows, and MES integration.
-Experience in designing secure system architectures that are compliant against classified information system security standards.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
