Pay Range: $70 - $75/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the team s intake process by identifying client needs and desired outcomes through active listening and deep knowledge of design thinking strategy
- Scoping work appropriately towards tangible outcomes on an accelerated timeline
- Identifying the most effective design strategy services and thoughtfully communicating those recommendations to clients, bringing clarity and confidence to complexity
- Delivering strategy services, including Design Thinking workshop planning and facilitation, user research, stakeholder management, general consulting, and action planning
- Facilitating teams through the human-centered design process including stakeholder management, problem framing, value definition, user research, opportunity prioritization, assumption mapping, light prototyping, and storytelling
- Partnering with Design, Agile, and Change Management within the larger Enterprise Innovation Consulting Services team to implement effort outcomes
- Formalizing and communicating outcomes through meaningful storytelling and stakeholder management
- Innovating ways for our team to improve operational excellence and scale a human-centered culture throughout ***
- The ideal candidate will bring the following experience:
- Working in ambiguous multi-faceted problem spaces, helping business partners bring clarity to opportunity areas and priorities using Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design methodology.
- Prior consulting experience is an advantage, but expert-level communication skills are essential
- Managing client relationships, thoughtfully scoping work, and managing expectations through clear communication that builds trust
- Prior experience in or knowledge of the energy industry is a plus
- Proficiency in Design Thinking methodology including facilitation, user research and concept implementation
- Leading teams through the Design Thinking lifecycle from beginning to end: problem identification and scoping, value mapping, solution definition, prototyping and testing.
- Planning and conducting user research studies, synthesizing findings, and packaging actionable next steps from key insights.
- Communicating user research findings to business teams, mapping research findings back to business value.
- Collaborating with other experts including Product leads, Researchers, Change Managers, UX designers, Agilists, Business Analysts, Engineers, and Developers.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key skills; Research background , doing workshops, Strategies, Road mapping, Process Improvement ,communicate with stakeholders, Asking root causes, planning conversations.
- Education/Degree - High School, Associate, Bachelor, Master: Graduation from a four-year college or university.
- Years of prior equivalent work-related experience in lieu of a degree (if applicable): High School/GED and 10+ years.
- Years of prior equivalent work-related experience in addition to a degree: 5-8 years with Bachelor's Degree.
