Novacoast Staffing is thrilled to present a fully remote opportunity for an adept Prisma Cloud Platform Security Engineer. This role is a beacon for our security and compliance missions within the Public Cloud. It caters to an individual with a profound knowledge of cloud security and a preference for fully remote work dynamics.

This is a contract position available on W2 only. For individuals with exceptional Prisma Cloud or Wiz expertise, complemented by substantial cloud security background, we're ready to navigate the digital security realm together.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary technical authority in securing and ensuring compliance across various Public Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Deliver comprehensive technology solutions via consulting projects - from identifying problems to deploying solutions.
• Strategize and oversee the migration of critical data and applications to the Public Cloud.
• Serve as a technical advocate for clients, driving issue resolution to achieve satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain code/scripts, with a strong preference for Python programming skills.
• Engage deeply within Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Configure, implement and manage the maintenance of Security Operating Platforms.

Requirements:

• Solid experience in IT/operations engineering, consulting, or similar roles, with a robust background in Information or Cyber Security.
• Hands-on experience with Prisma Cloud or extensive experience with Wiz, highlighting a strong foundation in cloud security.
• Proficiency in Python Scripting is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in spearheading security solutions in large-scale environments.
• A comprehensive grasp of vulnerability management and various compliance standards.
• Adeptness with API-based security and compliance standards is highly valued.
• Knowledgeable in cloud networking, network security, virtualization, and cloud computing basics.
• Skillful in additional programming languages such as NodeJS, Ruby, etc., is a plus.
• Understanding of exploits, malware, ransomware, and their defenses.
• Experience in automation and orchestration tools like Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD (Jenkins, Github, etc.) is beneficial.
• Effective consulting skills and confidently presenting solutions to leadership and customers.

Travel:

• Travel up to 10% within the designated region, country, and/or theater, International travel also required on ad-hoc basis and can be coordinated by our in-house travel department.

Salary: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
