Role: Oracle Cloud HCM Security Architect
Location: Remote
Duration: 6+ months
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Security Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise-level security for Oracle HCM applications. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and client-facing leadership, ensuring that application security, data protection, and compliance standards are consistently achieved. The ideal candidate will be adept at designing role-based access control (RBAC), managing segregation of duties (SoD) risks, and implementing cross-module security strategies across HCM, ERP, Payroll, and Identity Management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Response: Investigate and remediate security breaches (e.g., unauthorized access to compensation data), implement preventive measures, and strengthen monitoring.
- Advanced Role & Data Security Design: Architect Oracle Cloud HCM security frameworks that enforce RBAC and data security policies, while minimizing performance impact.
- Security Privileges & Custom Role Design: Configure job roles, duty roles, and privilege inheritance to create secure, business-aligned access models (e.g., payroll data view-only access).
- Security Patch Management: Stay current on Oracle Cloud security patches, address zero-day vulnerabilities, and lead vulnerability remediation strategies.
- Cross-Module Security Integration: Manage security implications across HCM, ERP, Payroll, and IAM systems, ensuring interoperability and compliance.
- Client Engagement: Run client-facing workshops, educate stakeholders on granular security models, and drive adoption of best practices even in the face of resistance.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing security for Oracle Cloud HCM Applications.
- Strong knowledge of security administration tools and their utilization in Oracle Cloud HCM.
- Hands-on experience with RBAC, SoD, MFA, SSO, and cross-module security.
- Client-facing experience, capable of independently leading workshops, presenting security strategies, and addressing client pushback diplomatically.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate security requirements and solution options.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle HCM cloud security.
- Track record of handling critical vulnerabilities and real-world security incidents.
- Oracle Security-related certifications preferred.
