A leading HVAC service provider is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Technician for a full-time, union-based role. This position offers long-term stability and is ideal for professionals who take pride in technical excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
This is an hourly paid role. Direct placement. $43-54 /hr depending on experience paid from union. ElitAire can pay $2-3/hr on top of this for the right candidate.
Guaranteed raise of $4/hr for the next 2 years. ElitAire pays fringe benefits on top of hourly pay.
Company car, gas card, all tools provided.
Relocation package for out of state candidates
Full-time employment with steady year-round work.
Company vehicle and gas card provided.
Specialized factory training opportunities
Uniforms, specialty tools, and PPE supplied.

A leading HVAC service provider is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Technician for a full-time, union-based role. This position offers long-term stability and is ideal for professionals who take pride in technical excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair:
- Air-cooled and water-cooled chillers
- Rooftop units
- VRV/VRF systems
- Split systems and pumps
- Perform advanced diagnostics and root-cause troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, and control systems
- Execute system start-ups, commissioning, and testing per manufacturer and client specifications
- Accurately document service activities including work orders, equipment histories, and maintenance reports
- Coordinate with service management and clients to schedule and complete work efficiently
- Mentor junior technicians in safety, procedures, and technical skills
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours service requests
- Maintain tools, vehicle, and equipment in professional working condition
- Adhere to all safety policies and union standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience (not residential)
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with air-cooled chillers and chiller start-up
- Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and controls
- Proficient in reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and system documentation
- Skilled in using digital gauges, recovery systems, and diagnostic tools
- EPA Universal Certification (required)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in the field
- Must be willing to join the union if not already a member
