Salesforce Health/Service Cloud Lead- Patient Services Unit

Non negotiable skills will be - Health Cloud, Service Cloud, hands on experience with Declarative and Programmatic implementation, stakeholder management, offshore team management (leading, coaching and mentoring)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of Patient Services Hub programs within Salesforce Health Cloud.
  • Configure custom objects, workflows, processes, and automation to streamline patient interactions and optimize program management.
  • Integrate Health Cloud with external systems using MuleSoft and API-first principles to ensure seamless data exchange and a unified patient view.
  • Design and develop engaging patient and HCP portals within Salesforce Experience Cloud.
  • Define and document the architecture and design of Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical best practices.
  • Create and maintain a robust and scalable Salesforce Health Cloud architecture that supports growth and evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (implementation team, business analysts, developers, data analysts, QA engineers) to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives and user requirements.
  • Lead the technical design and implementation of complex Salesforce projects, guiding development teams and ensuring adherence to architectural standards.
  • Champion Salesforce Health Cloud best practices within the organization, ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and data governance standards.
  • Proactively identify and implement new features and functionalities within Health Cloud and other relevant technologies to optimize program effectiveness and user experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies for integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Establish and enforce governance policies, coding standards, and best practices for Salesforce development and deployment.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define the Salesforce technical roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation and optimization.
  • Ensure the scalability and performance of Salesforce solutions, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks and issues.
  • Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Salesforce developers and administrators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Engage with business leaders, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical architectural documentation (including diagrams, models, and guidelines) for healthcare solutions, ensuring transparency and knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Proactively share knowledge with stakeholders through presentations, training sessions, and other knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT with a focus on enterprise systems.
  • At least 6 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce clouds ( Health, Service, Sales experience), including architectural leadership roles.
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce products, including Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other relevant solutions.
  • Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce development technologies.
  • Apex Trigger configuration, declarative and programmatic implementation hands on experience.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, integration patterns, and API development.
  • Strong understanding of Git, Salesforce DX (SFDX), and CI/CD processes.

Certifications:

  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Salesforce Health Cloud Certified Professional credential
  • Experience with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Tools & Technologies:

  • Familiarity with development tools like VS Code, Salesforce CLI, and other relevant tools.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide technical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
