Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a contract with a client in Seattle, WA. Candidates must have hands-on experience managing large-scale Azure environments and proficiency in automation tools like Terraform and PowerShell.
Rate Range: $45/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including networking, provisioning, automation, and scalability features.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Terraform, Azure ARM templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
- Support and troubleshoot Azure environments, including AKS clusters, virtual networks, ExpressRoute, and cloud-native services.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics), and security configurations (RBAC, Key Vault).
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and apply corrective actions to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement of cloud-based systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages such as Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
- Strong expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), cloud-native architecture, and Azure networking concepts.
